Self-produced by Jasen Samford and Exohxo in a makeshift studio in the home of Danny Oleson, the "Stories and Fictions" EP features seven tracks showing the many sides of Exohxo; from the Motown-inspired "AnnaLea" to the 50's pop of "Sunshine All Around" to the rhythmic drive of "Storytellers". Drawing deeply from the light but intricately layered legacy of the late 1950s and early 60s, Exohxo is unselfish and daring in their approach with arrangements at once instantly approachable and deceptively complex.
